Petting zoo at church

This weekend at our church they had an International Festival with food, animals, and crafts from different regions of the world. Braden's favorite part was the little petting zoo. He is not afraid to stick his hand through a cage towards any strange looking animal at all!! Eeek! I was hoping to do the camel rides but I guess I forgot how tall camels really are! I think in my mind, I was thinking of sweet little pony rides. :) After seeing the GIANT camels, I decided it probably wasn't a good idea. Instead, we strolled around and tried some yummy food and chatted with friends.

Toddler Class at Church

Let's see...I'm sure there are some more balls around here somewhere.

Braden called this giraffe a zebra 100 times!

Could this table be any cuter? I can't get enough of seeing their little feet dangling and seeing them in their bucket seats!

This was the opening song, "Where is Braden, where is Braden etc..." The kiddos will reach through the tube at the teacher. Too cute!

Had to get a picture from this view. Hee hee

During this little song, the kids tap their Bibles. Braden was more interested in shoving the cheerios in his mouth than holding the Bible, but I managed to get him to touch it once!

Sometimes after church we play in Bibleland. Braden loves going down the slide and running all over the place.

Peek-a-boo! Braden...sailing away on Noah's ark. :)

I'd rather be riding my Harley

We FINALLY got a battery for Braden's little motorcycle. Chris' parents found this for Braden forever ago, but we just hadn't found a place that carried the battery it needed. So today, Braden and I took a long drive into Louisville and found a place that carried every battery known to man! We tried it out as soon as we got home. He's pretty good on getting it to go...now we just have to work on steering!

Odds and Ends

Like most toddlers, Braden is really into shoes...his shoes, my shoes, any shoes he can find. Here he is wearing my shoes a few days ago. They actually look pretty good on him. Maybe I'm not Bigfoot after all. hee hee

On Friday, we went over to Janelle and Jackson's for a playdate. The boys ate a yummy lunch together (thanks Janelle), played a lot, and even did a little reading together. Now isn't this just pretty cute?

On Saturday, Chris and I went to Cincinnati to celebrate our 4th anniversary (our anniversary was actually on Aug. 28th). We hit the Gap Outlet (my choice of course) and then went to a little Octoberfest on the river. I always love little festivals in small towns. It was sort of like Harvest Homecoming so of course we ate, and ate, and ATE! Then we got to go see the Cubs play the Reds. We had great seats and it was a fun game to watch. Next year for our 5th anniversary, we might have to venture farther than Cinci (hint, hint, Chris! ).
