Since Ethan is sitting up really well now, we decided to try him in the bathtub last night. It sure beats the baby tub where most of his body wasn't in the water anymore and he was freezing. Braden didn't act like he wanted Ethan to come in with him at first but once I put him in he was fine with it. Ethan LOVED it! He was splashing up a storm...so much that Braden was whining because Ethan was splashing him. Oh Braden....you crack me up!
There will be no more posts about my scrawny baby! This child has taken off!! He gained over 4 pounds since the last appointment! He now weighs 17 lbs. and 15 ounces! He is in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th for height. He actually just passed Braden up in height and weight at the same 6 month checkup. These boys are going to be huuuuuugggggeeee!!! How will I ever keep the refrigerator stocked when they are teenagers. Ha!
Last Wednesday we met Janelle and her kiddos at Perrin Park for some bike riding and a picnic lunch. The big boys had fun riding their bikes, switching bikes often, and making their moms carry their bikes so they could run. Our one lap took forever but it was fun! Ethan & Darbi just enjoyed watching Braden & Jackson being silly.
Yesterday was beeeeuuuutiful!!! I love it, I love it! Of course when it starts to get super hot, I'll complain but for now I am loving these warmer spring days! :) Yesterday we got down the bikes and bike trailer and we gave Ethan a little spin. I didn't go too far because I was a little nervous about how he would take the bumps and I wasn't sure if Braden would be elbowing him or smothering him the whole time! They actually did really well together! After a bit, Braden and I dropped Ethan off with Daddy and then we went on a longer ride and hit some hills . Sheesh is that a workout! Braden weighs just a tad more than the last time I did this, but I was loving the workout. What a cheese-I'm sorry if you are blinded by my tan legs-hee hee!!
These are a little late but I forgot we took a few pictures on St. Patty's Day morning in our green. Braden always wants to hold Ethan now and then says "take a picture mommy," (he gets it honest) so we took a few with our big cheeses. :)
