Cindy's 60th birthday!

Tonight we celebrated Chris' mom's 60th birthday with a surprise party at Bearno's.  Chris and his brother played an acoustic show for her and family and friends attended.  It was a fun surprise party for a very special lady!  

Here she comes!  We thought she knew but she was surprised. :)  Love a good surprise!

Fun Saturday



This morning Ethan had another tee ball game. It's 3 year old baseball so not a ton of action but what little action there is, Ethan is in the middle.  He is such a little athlete!  Then after baseball we got out the waterslide and had some fun in the backyard. :)

 

 

 

 

Holiday World

On Thursday we got to make our annual trip to Holiday World. Chris and I look forward to this trip as much as the kids! This year Ethan was actually tall enough to ride almost all the big rides with us!!!  Even the lady that put on his height bracelet could not believe that he was only 3.  Our children are truly gigantore!!  We weren't sure if he'd be too scared to do the big water rides, but we were hoping. :)  Although he is a little more cautious then say Braden, he went for every ride and loved them!!  It was such a perfect family day.

 

This was the first ride...he was studying it big time trying to decide if he was going to be scared.  Bless his heart. :(  He loved it though and never cried.:)

Ethan's favorite ride was the speedy racers.  He did this 6 times. :) 

 

 

We opened and closed the park.  I have never seen my kids so tired in their lives! I tried to get Ethan to potty before bed and this is how I found him. I couldn't get them to potty, change into pj's or anything! They were limp noodles. Must have been a good day! :)

 

More boating

Last weekend we spent a couple days at Rough River. It's finally hot summer time which means we were in the water a lot! Everyone wake boarded and Braden is getting up and going a lot farther now. This child is fearless and sometimes clueless! Ha!! The second he gets up he's trying to do a trick or something! We keep saying "just ride it out" but he wants to show off a bit. We think he definitely has some Heaslet genes in him!!! (That's my family. :). The kids were jumping off cliffs again and giving me mini heart attacks! Thankfully all were safe. Then last night we did a last minute river cruise and the McAfee's joined us! We cruised and had dinner at tumbleweed and the kids did a little tubing. :)
