Boating

We've had a lot of fun boating on the river lately.  On Sunday our friends, The Trasks came out with us for a beautiful day and then last night Chris and I boated all the way to Madison for a little anniversary date.  So fun!

9 years and still going strong!!  Chris had a great idea that we do something a little different and boat all the way to Madison.  It ended up being a great day of just relaxing, walking around Madison's cute shops, eating and boating by ourselves.  Fun day!!

A little costume party

Ethan and I had a little dress up fun the other night to get his birthday invitation ready.  He's having a super hero party complete with Mom, Dad and brother in costume. ha!  This kid is SOOOOO funny I tell ya!!

Ethan's 1st Soccer Game

Ethan's 1st soccer game was Monday and he's on the U5 team (5 and under).  We had to fib just a smidge to get him into this league because he wasn't quite old enough.  He held his own just fine.  He almost had two goals...almost in that he kicked and hit the side of the pole. :(  Bummer!  He said he was going to play so hard just like Braden and he did.  Chris is his coach too which makes it even more fun.  This is going to be such a fun soccer season with both boys!

Braden's 1st soccer game of the season

Last Saturday was Braden's first soccer game in the 8U league (which is 8 and under).  I cannot express how proud we were of Braden!  We talked to him about being aggressive and not just running behind the person with the ball and really getting in there on every play.  He went full steam ahead the entire game!!  There wasn't one moment that I didn't feel like he was giving it his all.  He played hard and had a really good time! He even scored 2 goals.  This is going to be a fun season.  My dad drove down and surprised us and went to the first game which was a nice treat.  Papa T came too.  :)

Lately....

We've actually put our house up for sale....it's just for sale by owner so we'll have to see what happens.  Within 12 hours of my house being on zillow we had a showing and they came back for a second viewing but unfortuantely went for another house. :(  I had another showing today so we'll see what happens. 

Ethan has been putting on my makeup every chance he gets in my bathroom.  He said Granny showed him how.  ha!!

I got to join Braden for lunch one day last week.  His buddy Lane sat with us too. :)

We did a little house shopping in the Knobs Saturday.  I teased Chris that I was talking his picture in our new kitchen. ha!  He looks thrilled right?!
