Last night Chris' brother's band played outside at the sumitt in Louisville. The kids loved being able to watch since they never get to go to any of the shows. We couldn't get the boys to dance but Stella had fun twirling her dress and lifting it for the toddler boys nearby. Ha!!! :)

Pool days

The boys are having swim lessons all this week.  Braden is swimming like a mad man all in the deep end and going off the diving board a million times while Ethan is in his lesson.  Ethan is now putting his face in for longer and swimming under water a few feet. I'm really proud of both of them and how far they've come!!

Today we got to enjoy Wacky Water Wednesday at our church.  The kiddos had a ball!!

Father's Day

On Father's Day we met Chris' family for breakfast at Frisch's in the morning.  Then we took the boys to the park for some rocket launching...something Chris always enjoyed as a kid and likes to do with the boys.  Then that night we had a cookout and invited his dad and step-mom over.  We sure are blessed to have so many awesome dads in our lives and an awesome daddy right here!

We met some new little friends at the park and they got in on chasing the rocket too.  It was all good till they accidently smashed it with their feet.  Whoops! :)

Randoms

We made a trip to Spencer last week and my brother's girls and Braden and Ethan all had a ball in this little pool together. ha!  Notice they're all in their clothes since they accidentally fell in. :)

The boys attended VBS all week last week too!  Ethan got to go this year too. It's an awesome program, the kids get to learn a lot and put on a show on the last night complete with food!  Georgetown Christian Church is where it's at for VBS for anyone next year that's interested.  Us mommies also benefited with 3 and half hours of free time each day. Woohoo!!

A total random...this was the note Braden slid under the bathroom door while I was showering when I told him he couldn't have a playdate!  Seriously child!!! It says "can come tomorrow" then he lists a bunch of friends under the No column!  This child is like dealing with a 15 year old.  I'm already getting "You never let me do anything...you're so mean."  OH MY!!!!!!! Lord help me!

In other news...we had a yard sale this past Saturday.  Braden worked his booty off selling popcorn and water to everyone that came by and marketing to the neighbors. ha!  He earned enough to buy this brand new lego set at a neighbor's yard sale and had some left over for his piggy bank. Like father like son!

Boating trips

Here are some boating pictures from the last couple weekends. Braden is getting pretty good on the wakeboard. :)  We also visited Tules Creek at Rough River where the kids were a little too brave for my liking and were cliff jumping. ahhhhhh!!!!!

 

 

 

 

Chris is getting really good on his new wakeboard too!  I've only got to do it a couple times because of my dumb broken finger...not sure if I've mentioned that on here but I broke my ring finger back on May 17th and I've been in a  brace or strap thing and it's still not healed. :( :(

Zoo

The boys have been begging to go to the zoo lately.  Not sure if Ethan has been seeing commercials or what but he's been all about it.  So we finally made it on a  nice cool day and bought a membership so we'll be heading back soon.  It was such a perfect little family day!!

Ethan's First baseball game!

Today was Ethan's first ever official tee ball game was what you'd expect for 3 year olds...pretty much mass chaos! ha!  I have to say though, this little ball player was ready and on it!  I really wish he could have just played in the 4 year old league because he does much better off of a pitch then hitting off the tee.  He was excited and  ran hard and fielded lots of balls.  Go Ethan!
