This weekend the boys did a little Play-doh work at the table which turned more into scissor practice. Ethan was too cute cutting on Chris' lap because he would have to open his mouth every time he opened the scissors. I love when kids do that! I'll have to say he's a pretty good cutter. Braden got in on the action too. Then last night our homework was getting Braden's Valentine's for school filled out. I didn't make him write each kid's name but just sign his name...which was 20 times counting teachers. :) The crazy thing that still baffles me is that we do not know if Braden is right or left handed?!!?!? I know doctors will say it can take till 5 but, uh...he's 5 now and we still don't know! His teachers can't figure it out either. You might think this is no biggie or even kind of cool but I worry because his fine motor control isn't the best because he uses both hands equally. I think if he picked a hand, that hand would get stronger and his writing would improve. He eats left handed 100 % of the time but writes words and colors with both. Sometimes he switches mid way through his name. ?? Any OT's out there? Help! :) Oh well, that boy is a mystery. :)Love that open mouth!Star Wars Valentine's of course!

Gabriel has Star Wars Valentine's too. That was our homework for tonight and tomorrow night. There are 30 kids in his class, so it's quite a task.
Grace's handedness was a mystery for a while. She's a lefty now.
Can Braden clasp his hands together with his fingers woven together? I've always heard that your dominant hand will be the one on top. If you put a pencil in front of him, I would think that he would grab it with the dominant hand and start writing with the dominant hand. I would think he'd switch when the dominant hand is tired.
Thanks Denise! Great tips!

Daniel's brother, Chad, is truly ambidextrous. It's rare but a possiblity! :)
