4th of July

For the 4th of July, Matt & Carrie invited us up to Matt's sister's pool for a cookout/pool party. We were pretty waterlogged from the weekend but thought it sounded like a blast so went anyways. :) The kids had a blast swimming and just playing around the pool. :) Thanks Johnsen's for the invite!!

Braden & Jace hid in this toybox forever! They thought it was hilarious if I pretended to be looking for a ball and opened really fast to find them. ha! Oh the comedy of a 4 year old. :)

Ethan spent more time riding the bikes around the pool than actually swimming. :)

Matt got in his workout throwing the boys high in the air. Braden is going for a belly flop again. :)

That night (while Ethan slept) we watched fireworks right on our street with several neighbors. There are so many "shows" going on all around us, you really don't have to go anywhere. Plus the Rousters had some good fireworks that we got to let off. Braden and the girls enjoyed the sights laying down. ha!
