Braden just completed two weeks of swim lessons at Highland Hills. I was really impressed with the small group size and all that he learned. He can definitely swim under water several feet but still needs to work on using his arms when he swims. On the last day they got to jump off the diving board! It was probably 4-5 above the water but I knew Braden would be all about it. I guess from boating and all, he has no fear of jumping off of anything in the water. He might belly flop but he loves it! Working with his teacher Lauren Swimming with the kickboard
Ethan always had plenty of fun with the Rousters. :) Here he is with Natalie
Braden's swim group: Sophie (our neighbor), Jake and Braden
Edging out to the end of the diving board
Hilarious!! Whenever Braden jumps into a pool or a lake, he tries to jump out as far as he can. I'm pretty sure he's aiming for her head. ha! Look at her face. :)
And he loves it!
More fun with friends...Ethan and Ava are dating I'm pretty sure...when they're not fighting. :)
2nd jump. Cracks me up! He looks so high and this time his teacher is ready and scoots back. :) he did a giant belly flop on this one and came up with a red chest. He said it didn't hurt though and wanted to go again.
It was $75 for 8 sessions and the sessions were 40 min. each-not too bad. It's through Riverside Aquatics. They will have them in the fall and we'll prob do it then. It will be like two nights a week.
