Our last Christmas event
Braden had a great Christmas! He got to visit all of his grandparents' houses and get fun, new NOISY toys. After a few days of presents, traveling, and excitement, he was tuckered out! Tomorrow he'll be ready to go....and ready to play with all of his new toys. Thanks to everyone for a very special first Christmas for Braden.
Santa came!
Presents, presents, and more presents
Braden got a lot of new, fun presents from all of his grandparents! He never quite grasped opening the presents, but he sure did enjoy playing with all of his toys! Braden says THANK YOU to all of his grandmas and grandpas for all of the fun new stuff. Chris and I are thinking we are going to have to add on to our house now. Ha

Our Thanksgiving
This year, Chris and I made our own Thanksgiving dinner. It actually turned out edible!! Here are some pics of Braden eating some mashed potatoes. He loved them! I was trying to teach him to use the spoon but it wasn't the most successful attempt. He had fun with it but I couldn't actually say he ever got the potatoes into his mouth without a little help. :) The bottom pictures are after his nap. I heard him wake up and then it was quiet for awhile. I thought he fell back asleep so I went to peek and there he was standing in his crib. Once they figure it all out, it's over!!
Braden got his first haircut last week. It was getting very long and shaggy. Chris said he was looking like "Joe DIrt" not to mention he was starting a mini mullet in the back. Chris' mom, Cindy cuts hair so she got to do his first haircut. He did pretty good. He looks MUCH better now, but even more like a little boy. What happened to my baby? Tear!

Tonight we strolled around our street to a few houses with the neighbor kids. Then we had to go show off Braden to the grandparents so he could get his yummy "candy." He enjoyed looking at the candy through the baggie as you can see. :) His mean mommy did let him lick on a sucker for awhile, until he got frustrated because he couldn't bite it. We can't believe that at this time next year he'll be saying, "twick or tweet!"
