Ethan's letter to God

So today out of the blue Ethan comes up to me and says "I've made a card for God and I want to send it to him with balloons." How could I deny the boy...he drew a cross on the paper, put a sticker on it for the stamp and used my school stamp for return address. This was all his idea. Such a sweet little heart.

Chris' bday-the big 41! :)

Spring break-St. Louis Day 1

For Spring Break this year, we decided to head to St. Louis. Chris and I hadn't been in 15-20 years and of course the boys had never been. We had heard that it was a great city for families and we heard right!  We had a blast. :)
See the arch from the highway!  The Boys had heard about it so we were excited.  We headed straight for the zoo.  This zoo is great! It's free and so many cool animals to see.

Spring break-St. Louis-Day 2

Day 2 we headed to the City Museum!! Seriously SOOO much fun! Basically a giant playground for kids and adults. :)
Breakfast in our hotel before we took off

This area was a little tight!

These spinning chairs were hilarious!  Lots of giggling.

Outside the museum you could climb out and about all over the place. Braden wasn't scared a bit of the height...it's hard to tell but these tunnels were as high as buildings!  Ethan was a little nervous but ended up conquering the highest one before the day was up.

OH MY WORD!

Little Ethan tackling the scariest one!  I tell ya, when that thing shook and you're looking straight down at the ground-it was scary!

After dinner in the hotel we walked to Bailey's for an icecream treat.

Spring break-St. Louis-day 3

Our last day we hit the arch before heading out. I couldn't get the whole arch and the kids in a picture on my cell. ha!  Braden and Ethan are making arches with their hands...their idea obviously. :)

Here we go....a little selfie in our little elevator

Pics from the top

What a fun, fun trip!!!! Love my family!

Spring break Nashville

To kick off spring break week, we headed to Nashville for a little fun without the love bugs.
