Hubers, pumkin pickin' time!

On Monday we went to Huber's for our annual pumkin picking event.  I LOVE fall time and always look forward to all of the festivities....:) As many of you know, I take this same picture every year on the wagon of pumpkins.  I love looking  back and seeing the boys at different ages in the same picture.  They sure are big this year!!!

The Vaughns were picking pumpkins on the same night so we hooked up and had dinner together first.

Oh the pumpkin hunt....some are just SO heavy! :)  Addi helped Ethan find the perfect pumkin for "his size." :) 

I told Ethan to sit on a pumpkin so I could take some pictures and he totally posed like this with his hands under his chin. ha! I've never had him do that....he saw it somewhere. :) So cute!!!

Boo at the zoo

This summer we got a zoo membership for the first time in a couple years which means we were hitting boo at the zoo when it was time.  I have to say....quite a few more candy stops and way less crowded. :)  All things that Chris and I appreciated. ha!  My little ninja and Hulk had a great time eating all their candy and seeing all the costumes-although these characters weren't quite as cool coming off of the "real ones" at Disney.

Every time we hit a candy stand, Ethan would quickly pull his mask down and let out a huge growl at the candy giver...Then of course they'd act scared and then he'd lift his mask and say "it's just me. " ha!! 

Our last morning in Disney....boo hoo :(

On Friday morning, it was time to pack up and head out. :(  We really had so much fun and wished we could have 1 more day, but that just means we'll have to come back very soon! 

We had a little time to kill between check out and our flight so we hit the Pirate's Cove Putt Putt.  Apparently we've never taken the kids to play because they absolutely loved it!  Chris and I were in a super heated competition which was hilarious, and the boys were really into it.  Definitely a fun family outing we need to do around home soon. :)

*Thank you to awesome grandparents for giving the boys some Disney fun money, for my mom for the hotel and to Mickey Mouse for some great family memories (ok that part was a joke but you get my drift).  We are so blessed to have been able to go on this trip!

Day 4-swimming and Chef Mickey

After two full days in the parks, it was nice Thursday to lay by the pool and relax a little.  The Vaughns and Thomas' were staying just a couple miles up the road and came over for the day to swim. The kids had a blast! They entered the hula hoop contest, water balloon games, made sundaes and swam their hearts out. Super fun day!!

That night we had reservations at Chef Mickey. I had debated on whether to do this weeks ago because it's so expensive and then when I finally looked, everything was booked of course. :(  I kept looking and somehow there was a dinner opening and I snatched it up!  I am SOO glad we got to go. It was totally worth every penny! The kids got to interact with all the characters, get their signatures and pictures and hug them up.  It was seriously priceless!

Day 3-Hollywood Studios

After getting home late and exhausted from Magic Kingdom, we got up early ready to go again!  This time, we headed to Hollywood Studios.

We ran into the Samsels who are clearly Disney tour guide experts and they helped us plan and execute the day!!  The boys love Nathan!

An awesome ending to the night!  After Sandy gave us some tips to what all this pin trading was about, we bought the boys these lanyards and they started trading pins themselves with cast memebers.  Braden was SO into it!!
