Florida

For fall break we booked a resort in Destin.  We hadn't taken the boys to the beach for 3 years so we were super excited to get some ocean time.  We had ipads and movies in our laps and we were on our way!  The boys were SOOOO good in the car!!! We didn't hear a peep (granted their brains were fried from all the screen time, but it was peaceful. ha!).

We spent a ton of time on the beach.  We made sandcastles and the boys played football with friends we met on several days.  I mean hours of football. It was great!

Chris went on a fishing trip. They caught huge fish and our friends grilled it up for dinner that night. 

On the way home.  The kids slept a smidge in the morning since we left at 5:00am.  What a wonderful trip full of fun memories and relaxation!!

Hubers

The day before my birthday my mom came down to visit and celebrate.  Mom and I got in some shopping and lunch time together and then met up with the boys for some Hubers fun.

A friend Chris teaches with gave us tickets to the IU/ UofL soccer game and this was a first for us...pretty cool!

Ethan had his 5 year well check and had to get 5 shots. :(  The poor buddy not only didn't cry a tear but seriously didn't even flinch! He is one touch cookie so we grabbed a monster cookie at pie kitchen to celebrate. :)
