Mother's Day Tea at Grant Line

On Friday morning, Braden's kindergarten class had a Mother's day tea for all the mommies. It was soooo adorable! Mrs. Schneider started by reading us a funny story about mommies having more than two arms (she used to read a sad story and everyone cried but thank goodness for my out of control crying self, she switched to a funny). Then the kids each had a line in a poem about what a mommy does. Braden was first and said, "The kindergarten presents, What is a Mother?"  Then they held up portraits they drew of each of us-really funny! Next they sang some really cute songs and we watched a video of pictures from the year.  The last set of pictures was each child holding up a white board saying what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Braden's said, "I want to be a gas station worker."  The room erupted in laughter...seriously!! ha!  Finally, they passed out several cute gifts they made for us and cookies and punch.  These little events just melt my heart.  :)

This is during the video.  It's hard to see, but it's Braden holding up his sign saying he wants to be the gas station worker. :)
Handsome boy!
Braden's job was to pass out the cookies. He did a great job.
My almost first grader (tear).  I always tell him, he made me a mommy after all. :)
One of our gifts was this cute little flower pot they got to decorate.
After the tea, parents started taking pictures.  Braden was cracking me up trying to connect with the girls but with the big gap. ha!!

Love this one!!
Seth, Walker, Braden and Lynlee...all the mommies are my friends. :)
