Christmas at Papa T & Mimi's

Our final Christmas celebration was on the 26th. We were supposed to go to Chris' dad's in the morning but the boys ended up sick Christmas night so we ended up at the Dr. first thing in the morning. They both have nasty coughs and congestion and poor Ethan has an ear infection. After naps we decided to go on over anyways. After all, a little snot wasn't going to stop Braden from tearing into presents! Thanks Papa T & Mimi for all of our great gifts and the yummy food!
Cool-a learning book-just what Mommy likes!

Ethan was getting really good at grabbing at the tissue paper by now :

* After all of that, Christmas was over! I always hate when Christmas ends because I love it so much but I think we got more than enough. Braden might disagree with me but I don't think we need any toys for awhile. :) Chris and I always joke that we are that movie, "Four Christmases" but in a good way!!

Christmas at Gma Cindy & Pop's

After we finished at our house Christmas morning, we headed up to Chris' mom's for a Christmas celebration. We always have a great time opening all of our awesome gifts and eating yummy food all day long! Thanks Gma Cindy & Pop for all of the presents and fun times...especially the win, lose, or draw!

Christmas morning

When we got home from Spencer on Christmas Eve, we had to hurry and get all ready for Santa. Braden sprinkled his reindeer food in the yard with Daddy and we put out cookies and milk. Then we had to read the real Christmas story and get to bed so Santa's helpers (uh Mom and Dad) could get all of the presents out. The funny thing is Braden would not go to bed (big surprise). He was too excited and when you tell a kid that Santa is coming well...that means it's going to be a late night. It really reminded me of being a kid again and not wanting to go to sleep. It also made me realize that we made our parents stay up way too late on those nights. Ha!

* When Braden woke up in the morning and saw Santa's cookies gone instead of connecting that "yeah, Santa left presents for me" he started crying and said, "Santa ate all of my cookies and I'm hungry!" It was soooooooo hilarious! Only Braden would cry over that-it cracked me up!!!

Santa came!

Christmas at Gma Trish's

On Christmas Eve we went up to my mom's house for Christmas. Braden always has a good time playing with all of his cousins that are there. It's one of the few times a year when I get to see all of my nieces and nephews at the same time and see how much everyone has grown! Thanks mom for our wonderful presents and the fun.

New PJ's-we sure needed them!
Ethan got PJ's too and they match Braden's. :)

Loving on Granny

We sure love our "Granny." Braden absolutely loves going over to Granny's house and of course especially loved going over there for presents. He got Buzz Lightyear which is what he has been hoping for and was super excited! Uncle Jeremy had given him one last week too so now he has two to play with. To infinity...and beyond!!

Matching outfits?

Ethan liked his new outfits too.

Hanging out

Here are just some cute pics of my boys hanging out at home. Ethan is really starting to reach and grab now at what he wants. Braden is obsessed with Buzz Lightyear now and insists that he join our family pictures. :)

Self-portrait of course-ha!

Smiles & Coos

Our little Ethan is just full of smiles and coos these days and I can't get enough! I could seriously lay on the floor beside him and watch his little smiles and listen to his "talking" all day long and it would never get old!! I think I forgot how sweet little babies are. :)

Ethan's 3 month picture

He wanted to show me how looooonnng he is!

Tummy time-Ethan rolled front to back a week ago and absolutely shocked me today by rolling back to front! I looked back at Braden's baby book and he was 5 months old when he went back to front. This little guy is ready to get up and play. :)

Having fun with his new glow worm Santa brought on Friday

Braden showing Ethan how the glow worm works-precious!

Here is a little video of Braden talking to Ethan...he says "Santa brought you this, Santa brought you this." I love seeing my boys together! Ethan better enjoy the love for now because I'm sure when he gets big enough to touch Braden's toys there will be a whole new love-ha!

Granny's Christmas Party

Today we had Granny's Christmas party at our house. They have a HUGE family because Granny (Chris' grandma) and her two sisters have their families all come. It's really neat to see the whole family together at once. We were snug but we all fit. Braden must have been very good this year (ha!!!) because Santa decided to show up at this party too!

Bye Santa....come back again!

Santa Party

Last night we had a few friends over for a little party. The highlight of the night was when Santa showed up with presents for all of the kiddos. Chris talked his prinicpal into getting her husband to play Santa and he actually did a great job! He even had an elf with him. It was so cute to see all of the kids go get their present when they heard their name. Braden enjoyed telling everyone when it was their turn...I think he wants to be an elf too!

Sarah getting in her practice with two kids...it won't be much longer!!

Santa arrived and Braden was already telling him something or another. He and Santa are BFF's.

Waiting on presents

Braden got a CARS semi but he seemed to like Tyler and everyone else's presents better! Sheesh, Santa, don't you know what he likes! :)

Ethan as Baby Jesus!

Today at church Ethan got to play Baby Jesus in a short skit at the end of service. It was a scene where Mary & Joseph bring Baby Jesus to the temple and Simeon sees him and praises God for the baby. I was very nervous that Ethan would scream his head off but he actually did pretty good. He did very well the first service but by the time we waited around for the next service (without a very good nap) he was fussy and he let Simeon know! Ha! Considering he had to be wrapped in one tiny cloth and held up in the air by a sweet man that resembled Santa Claus, he did pretty good. :) Ethan said he would be happy go give out autographs if anyone would like one after his stellar performance. :)

Pics from the rehearsal this morning

The real deal...

By the way, check out that Mohawk! Ethan is completely losing his hair and they definitely did not get his "good side" on camera. :)
