Ethan's last soccer game

Ethan had his last soccer game and came out with 2 goals!  He improved so much as the season went on and really started getting agressive. :) Chris had a great time coaching him and the other littles. So fun!

Braden's last soccer game

Braden's last soccer game was Saturday and it was a cold one!!  He did great and played really hard.  After the game we went to Wick's Pizza with the coach and some of the team.  Coach Stephens is SOOO sweet!  He bought the kids little personalized trophies to go with their medals and said a little something about each kid-so nice.

Hugs for mimi and papa T

School work

Braden's abstract art picture got picked to go on the school art bulletin board. There was only one per grade.  Not sure what he made here but I like it! :)  Good job buddy!
Ethan's homework this weekend was decorating this pumpkin.  He chose "scary."

Trick or treat at Grant Line

On Friday night we got to trick or treat at Braden's school. It's always fun to see the teachers in costume around each turn giving out candy.

We got to walk around with Kadin and Kinley Bush.  Kadin and Braden are good friends, Kinley and Ethan are in preschool together, I work with mom and Chris works with Dad. ha!  Lots of connections. :)

A little of this, a little of that

Recently we had a high school girl's lunch reunion in Bloomington-always fun to catch up with these girls.  Even though it's been so long since HS and we have families and live all over, it's still the same girls I ran around with when I was young. :)

I took this picture right after Ethan had scored 3 goals in soccer and then he went out and got another one!!  Can't believe he scored 4 goals in one game! He was so proud of himself-he's quite the little athlete.

The boys and I made some yummy pumpkin cookies last week.

Reading time
The boys and I dropped off all the hats and mittens that were donated at our outdoor movie night to Fairmont Elementary.  The office staff was very excited to have the donation from everyone. Thanks friends!

Outdoor movie night

Tonight was our annual outdoor fall movie night.  I think this is our 5th year doing it. :)  We always start with hayrides and then show It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown on the garage door. The kids love eating popcorn and drinking hot cocoa and then settling in for the movie....sure feels like fall being outside all bundled up in the evening. Love it!  We had a huge turnnout even with many families still on fall break.  We had 37 kids and 68 total. Yowzers that's a lot! :)  Thankfully all went well, everyone was safe and we had fun!
The boys were SOO ready for the guests to arrive. Braden asked a million times...."how much longer?"  Sheesh!  Here they are at the craft tables. We had pumpkin color sheets and Halloween sticker crafts for the early guests.

Chris getting the popcorn going with his little helper. :)
This year we collected hats and mittens for kids in New Albany that will need them with this chilly weather.  We are taking them to Fairmont Elementary.  So glad we get to do this for kids that will really need them!
Chris has always wanted to do apple bobbing...I always say, "brrrr and yucky germs!" ha!! Well this year he decided to do it and the kids did love it! I've never seen so many kids eating apples in my life. :)  I guess we should throw some more veggies and fruit in a bucket of water around here and see what happens. :)

The hayrides begin
The hats and gloves started filling up the bucket

and a few more snacks after the movie :)
Ethan and his buddy Nate from school :)
Hard to tell from this picture, but the whole bucket is full of really cute hats and glove sets for our friends at Fairmont Elementary.  Thanks to everyone for helping!!  It's amazing how just giving a little per family really adds up to this and will make a big difference to some little ones.  Awesome!
