Ooooooooh Halloween!

The big anticipated night of crazy costumes and eating way too much candy came and went. I think I gained 10 pounds and we are all pooped, but what a fun night!! Papa T and Grandma Cindy came over to see the boys in their costumes and ended up trick or treating with us all night. The kids loved that of course and it was nice to
have the extra hands. :)

Papa T holding the boys...I took a few pics here and this was the only one the boys were looking and half way smiling but Papa T wasn't. ha! I give up on all parties looking and smiling simultaneously-might just be a lost cause. :)

The family shot...again, pretty much impossible to get my children to look at the camera. You can always see Braden saying, "Cheese" but looking somewhere else. What a boy!

We always walk around the neighborhood with the Rousters. Aren't they too cute? This is everyone minus Baby Ava and Ethan-they were chillin' in their "rides."

Yeah, scooby snacks

Such a sweet baby face...:) This was when he walked (with Gma Cindy's help) up to his old sitter's house...he was all smiles for Mrs. Lisa.

Braden got a kick out of this guy! Wouldn't it be a little gooey in there?

Gma Cindy was a trooper with letting Ethan walk (of course she might have a broken back now-yikes!).

We have waited weeks to visit this house! We drive by it all the time and we could see this family getting their house and garage all decked out. Braden couldn't wait to see the "scary house." He has asked me to drive by it daily!!!

Oh yes, poor second child. I'm sorry dear Ethan that at 13 months you've already had chicken nuggets, a juice box, and now a big sucker among other things! Your mommy is a bit lax the second time around. I'll have to say, you were not disappointed with your first treat. I'm pretty sure "yummmmmm" was the constant noise coming out of your mouth between licks. :)

After our walk around the neighborhood, Braden and Papa T passed out candy. They definitely didn't pass out enough though because we are left with way TOO much. Oh my...what's a girl to do with so much chocolate laying around...I guess I'll just have to eat it so there's not too much clutter. :)
*Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeen everybody!!!

Northside's Fall Festival

Today our church had a fall festival from 3-5. It was a packed event and super cute. It was so beautiful today and the perfect activity to do before actually trick-or-treating.

Posing with Mickey

Braden stayed Buzz but we decided to let Ethan wear the backup costume I had bought (one that fit a bit better and would keep him warmer when it got cool)...a cute poofy spider. He looked SO adorable in that little spider hat.

"Can I have this Mommy?"

We ran into Tyler there and he was Buzz too. :)

To infinity...and beyond!!!

Last soccer game

Saturday was Braden's last soccer game. It was a chilly one!!!! He had quite the little cheering crowd. To summarize Braden's favorite parts of soccer season I would have to say :
#3- actually playing soccer
#2- warm-ups and goofing off with friends
And the #1 favorite part of soccer is the snacks!!!
So hey, no soccer scholarship in our future at this point but we are proud of our little buddy!!!

Receiving his medal. Look how proud he is! That's what being a mommy is all about-these moments are just too precious!!

So proud!

Cute boys!

Ethan always gets in a little soccer practice after the games. :)

Trick or treating at Norton's

Last week we met several friends at Norton's in Clarksville for their "spooky halls" trick-or-treating. Braden is obsessed this year with anything he thinks is "scary" so he especially loved all the scary stuff in the halls. :) The kids were Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Both of their costumes were way too small for them! I can't imagine why!?!?! I bought Braden's over the summer from a teacher friend so by now it was getting pretty snug and starting to even tear. Since he was Buzz I wanted Ethan to be Woody and a friend loaned us his. Well it was at least 2 sizes too small. Ha! He still looked cute but I changed him into another costume for Halloween. :)

My little Woody-such a sweet baby boy!

Such love :)

Oooooohhhhh scary....

After the halls they had free popcorn and drinks. Ethan had his first juice box and love is not a strong enough word to express how he felt about a juice box. He absolutely through a fit when it was gone. :)

Pumpkin Carving

Braden was a tad more interested in getting into the pumpkin this year. He's still not a huge fan of all of the gooies. :) Usually Chris carves the pumpkin but this year mama took over and it turned out pretty decent actually. :)

Fall fun

Today we stopped by a little church with tons of leaves for some pictures. Chris and I always crack up at our "picture sessions" because it's pretty much impossible to get both kids looking at the camera or smiling at the same time. Oh well...we had fun romping around in the leaves and just playing!

This was our attempt with the timer-ha!

Our 2nd annual outdoor movie event :)

Last night was our fall outdoor movie event. We did it last year and it was so easy and fun that we decided we'll just have to do it each fall. Chris had hayrides going behind his four wheeler while everyone visited and snacked on popcorn and hot cocoa. Then when it got dark we showed "Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin" movie with the projector on the garage door. The kids looked adorable all bundled up watching the movie. It was such a fun night and we are so glad so many were able to come. Thanks guys for a fun evening!

Ethan was big stuff this year compared to last year when he was just an itty bitty newborn. :)

Hayride time
Papa T, Mimi & Izzie helped out with Ethan
Getting some snacks

Carson, Braden & Tyler-such big boys these days!!! :(

Ethan was loving trying out all the movie seats

Another hayride

And another group

Almost movie time

Sweet sisters :)

Movie time!!!! It's hard to tell from this picture but we had a huge turnout. I'm not sure how many but I'd say at least 50ish came.

I bought a HUGE bag of marshmallows and they disappeared fast....hmmmmmm, I wonder who kept eating them? (and of course not using the scoop to get any). :)
