Randoms...

Just some random pics from The Noble household lately...
Papa T & Mimi got Ethan an ice cream making play-dough set. He loves it!  The play dough almost looks good enough to taste...Ethan thought so!

A little redneck riding. :) We went out to Chris' aunt's to check his deer cameras...ha! Yep I said deer cameras. He has a camera strapped to a tree near his deer stand to detect motion and take pics so you can see what kind of deer are around....isn't that sooooo redneck hilarious?!!?
The boys do love the 4 wheeler so it made for some good bonding time (4 on a 4wheeler really gives you some close time. :)
We found out Friday that Braden got STUDENT OF THE MONTH for September for his class!!!!  Do you know how proud we are?!  I mean, really, really, really proud!!! :)  He got a new lego set for a present from proud Daddy.
Crack me up!! Braden had a bday party at Sigs today for his little friend Kadin. The boys stopped and wanted their picture behind this on the way out.  I seriously could not quit laughing. :)

Special Date Night with my Boy!

Braden has been doing such an awesome job at school this year!  His teacher says he is sooo good and an example for others. I tell ya, I was worried sick this summer and I'm so grateful and thankful and relieved and...and...(many more adjectives) just overjoyed that he is doing so well!

On Thursday he came home and told me he was the new "lunch captain" for his class.  I told him that was awesome and assumed they all took turns doing this. Well when I went into his class Friday his teacher told me she had a talk with the whole class about good and bad lunchroom behavior and asked who would be a good monitor for the class because they do a good job and guess who they picked?!?! My child!!  I seriously almost cried (really had tears in my eyes and had to look away because I was embarrased. ha!).  So not only is my child good but he has friends!! ha!  Only a mommy's heart can understand the joy that this moment brings. :0  SOOOOO, we had to celebrate all of his good behavior at school since the start.

So we had ourselves a little date night.  First up dinner at Quiznos....

Then Finding Nemo in 3D (which was so good. I had never seen this movie for some reason???)
Then a dilly bar from Dairy Queen to end the night. So proud of you big boy!!  Since Ethan wasn't going to hang through a whole movie, he and Chris had a guy's night on their own and went 4 wheeling. :)

Apple Day in Kindergarten

Friday I got to go into Braden's class for "Apple" center day.  All of the centers are apple related but still focus on academic skills.  I LOVE being able to go in!  It is so cute and I am beyond impressed at how well all the kids do at going center to center and knowing what to do. Mrs. Schneider is truly amazing....ahhhh! I love her!  Braden is doing such a fabulous job in class.  I am so proud of him!!

Soccer Pics

Braden had his soccer team pictures Thursday so I took a few behind the real photographer like only a blogger mommy can do! :)

Krispy Kreme Pirate Day

Last week on National Pirate Day (whatever that means) Krispy Kreme was offering free donuts for dressing like a pirate. So if you talked like a pirate you got one donut and the costume got you a dozen! We had one costume and split it between the boys and got two dozen!!  Of course I had just started a "diet" and it nearly killed me to not eat the whole box but I managed. :)  My cutie pirates loved their donuts.

watching the donuts being made
Messy face! :)

My little big 3 year old!

So how did this happen?!!?! How did my little baby...my last baby already turn 3? It really, truly just goes way too fast!  Ethan Noble...you are now 3 and mommy is a little sad that you're so big and going to school now.  You're not a baby, not a toddler but now a preschooler. sniff sniff

You make your daddy and I laugh so much. You have a spunky personality and definitely do what you feel. If you feel like dropping a squat and pretend to wakeboard in the middle of a store, you do it. If you feel like throwing the world's largest temper, you do that too. ha!  You are a strong willed little guy just like your big brother (thanks a lot daddy...we're blaming that one on you! ). Even with the fits, the determination, and the not listening that you bring right now, I wouldn't trade your personality for the world. You are also the sweetest, most cuddly little boy when you're in the mood. Just tonight, you came up to me 3 times during your dinner just to hug and kiss me then went back and ate your dinner. Talk about melting a momma's heart.

You are really into boating, swimming and anything watersport related. You love your boats, cars, airplanes and anything that goes right now. You're starting soccer and love all things sports. You LOVE to be outside and get everything out of the garage to ride...especially your gator which you ride all over and very well. You love your "big school" and your teachers.  You're not much into eating at all. You love "wogurt, and more wogurt, and can I have another wogurt" all day long! You could live off yogurt! You also love cookies of course and ask for those the second you wake up. "I have cookie mommy....5 cookies?"  I mean like everyday!

You love your "Bubby" but pretty much knock down or mess up whatever he is working on. ha! There are some sweet moments between the two of you at times, but right now you're not really on the same playing field but I know it's coming soon. You love your "siends" (friends) and love going to your grandparents.  You just love people in general, when you're not feeling embarrased. You follow little old ladies out of the YMCA or grocery store and try to go to their cars weekly. :)  You love to make silly faces, especially when we're reading books and your imitate the faces in the book.

Academically you can sing your ABC's, count to 16, know most of your colors and can sing the Pontoon song pretty well (ha!! popular one on the radio and your favorite of course).

I could go on and on about your silly little personality. I just hope I've taken enough pictures (surely I have) and enough videos of you and Braden to always be able to remember you at each age.  I treasure you at this very age, the good and the challenging moments. :)  We sure love you Ethan!! Happy birthday!
Just a little squirt then and now big boy going to school.

Ethan's 3rd Birthday Party

Ethan's party was actually held on his birthday this year. It was a busy day between birthday in his class and grandparents day at both schools but it was a super special day for him. :)  I saw this balloon idea on Pinterest and thought it was too cute. When Ethan woke up from his nap he wanted no part of standing in front of it. My dad blew up the balloons for me so I had him pose as a joke. ha! Eventually Ethan warmed up and stood by it. :)  Gotta love pinterest.
Then we came in and waited for the party goers to arrive. Braden was watching old videos on our camera hooked up the tv. Of course when Ethan saw me wakeboarding, he had to get in the position.  This cracks me up! He does this all the time and anywhere we are! He "wakeboarded" in the middle of his soccer game Saturday. Luv it!
Finally the party started. We always start with stuffing our faces of course. :)
Cake table. Ethan wanted a wakeboard/boating party. Well let me tell you...that is not a popular theme for a kid's party. ha!  I had improvise. I found the surfboard decoration and thought that'd work and we used Mickey on a surfboard and a toy boat for the cake.  It wasn't perfect but he loved it!
Then it was suddenly a costume party. All of the kids ran upstairs and changed into different costumes and ran back down to show us. It was hilarious!
Izzie and Braden in action
Finally present time. Batman..a.k.a Braden helped deliver the presents and tried hard not to open them. :)
Ethan got all kinds of goodies.  He loved this boat, trailer and truck that we got him.
Chris did all the presents with me and I sat back and enjoyed.  ahhhh, it was so nice not being in charge of all the kids climbing on you and wanting to open everything. ha!
He got a new soccer ball and net and started playing all over the basement right when he opened it.
All the kids helping out. :)
Money!
Excited about his cake in front of him!
Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you...OH no! Pure embarrassment again!
So much that he fell out of his seat and rolled on the ground. What a ham!
But then he jumped back up to blow his candle out.
He gave Ellie a lick off his wakeboard. :)
Yummy!
Most of the crew had to head home then since it was late but John, Heidi and the girls stuck around another hour or so and all the cousins played with the new toys.  What a fun, fun day!  Thank you so much Family for coming and all the wonderful gifts. Ethan sure is a blessed little boy!

Grandparents day at Grant Line

So Monday was not only Ethan's birthday and grandparents day at preschool, but also grandparent's day at Braden's school. My dad was already coming down for Ethan's party so came early to have lunch with Braden. Papa T and Mimi came too.  Braden was so excited to have everyone at school.  I told my dad to get a couple pictures on his phone. Misson accomplished! Thanks for coming gparents!

It's here, it's here!

Ethan had been talking about his birthday for weeks..."my bthday is cuming up!" he'd say. It was too cute!  So the big day finally arrived. I caught him right out of bed and asked him how old he was now. :)
Nope, not two....

Not one...try again

That's right! You are three!

We sang happy birthday to him with a candle in his cinnamon roll...he was just too embarrased. :)

I love Braden's face here about how embarrased Ethan was. :)

Then off to school we went. I ran over to Ethan's class when they sang happy birthday to him. Guess what he did?  ha!  Just too embarrasing again

He brought donuts and orange juice...his favorites for his treat. Nothing embarrasing about those. :)  He dug right in.

Then, to make the morning even more special, it was grandparent's day at preschool. Gma Cindy came up for the special day.
