Last Saturday was also Braden's first basketball game (yep busy day). He is on the Bulls team at Graceland and in the 6 year old league just because of where his birthday will fall. He's definitely the youngest one on his team which is unfortuante since he's never played before. :( He's got his work cut out for him trying to catch up in skills and learn the game itself, but he goes out there and listens to his coach and tries his best. :) He's already improved so much since the first practice. Only time will tell if this will be a sport he sticks with but for now, he has fun while he's there which is most important. Good job buddy!

Running down for defense. They have wristbands color coded so they know who to guard. He might be using his for a snot rag...not sure. :)
Papa T and Ethan enjoyed the game (and the snacks)
Daddy had to give Braden a little talk about what to do on defense. Of course Braden had to guard their tallest guy (since he's so tall) and it was their best player. :( He's learning the concept of staying between his guy and the basket. He'll get there.
