Braden's first soccer game

Braden is in a new soccer league this year called Southern Indiana United. We LOVE it! It is so much more organized than the Y, the kids do real drills and they only put 3 players per team on the field at a time which means the kids actually have a chance to kick the ball. We've only had one game but I can't say enough about how much I love this program. Not to mention they get a shirt, shorts and socks....looking cute is half the part right?!? :)

Braden had been saying he didn't want to play, that he didn't like soccer, it's too hard, blah blah, blah. So I was expecting tears and fits and was beyond excited that we got none of that! He was the best little boy-listened to his coach, tried his little heart out on every drill, cheered for all his teammates, and even scored two goals! I could care less if he's any good at age 4, but I was one proud momma that he listened and did so well for his coach and there wasn't one single whine. Way to go buddy! We are so proud of you!!

Papa Scott came down for the day and got to see his first game.

Such a cute picture of these two!

Who is that gigantic child standing with his team?!?! ha!

Doing the "kangaroo" during drills...pretty hard stuff.

On his way to scoring his first goal. I was so proud that he stuck with it and took it all the way...is that called dribbling in soccer??? Or is that only basketball? Definitely don't know my soccer terms yet!

Almost there buddy!

Hugs and a drink from Daddy

Scoring his second goal...mommy might have had a tear or two! :(

Halftime...Ethan wanted in on some goal scoring too!

Cutie pie waiting for his turn. So proud of my big boy!
