Truth in the Tinsel

We've been talking a lot about Santa and Elfy in our house (elf on the shelf) lately which is great and so fun! But this year with Braden being a bit older I wanted to make sure we remember the true meaning of Christmas too! I ordered "Truth in the Tinsel" online for just $5.00. It has 25 mini activities to do with your children teaching them about the story of Christmas. You read scripture from the Bible, talk about it and make an ornament that goes with the story. So far we have done day 1 and 2. Braden made a candle ornament representing light in our lives and then made the crown to represent our King-Jesus' that was born for us! He's really into it and even explained pretty well to Chris what they meant. Hopefully this will help us focus a little more on the real gift of Christmas. :) If you'd like to see the instructions, let me know and I'll email it to you. :)
